Real Southern Pig-tailed Macaque Skeleton - Articulated
The southern pig-tailed macaque is a medium-sized primate native to the forests and mangroves of Southeast Asia. It gets its name from its short, curled tail, resembling a pig’s. These intelligent and social monkeys live in groups with a clear hierarchy and communicate through a variety of vocalizations, facial expressions, and gestures. Omnivorous and resourceful, they feed on fruits, seeds, insects, and even small animals, playing an important role in their ecosystems by dispersing seeds and controlling insect populations.
