The sandbar shark is a large shark found in coastal waters worldwide. It has a stout, streamlined body, a high triangular dorsal fin, and a broad, rounded snout. These sharks typically inhabit sandy or muddy areas and are not known to pose a significant threat to humans. They feed on a variety of prey, including fish, rays, and crustaceans.
