Real Spotback Skate Jaw and Tail
The spotback skate is a species of skate found in the southwest Atlantic Ocean, particularly off the coasts of Argentina, Uruguay, and southern Brazil. It is characterized by its distinctive dark spots on the dorsal side and can reach a considerable size, with some individuals growing up to 2 meters in length. Spotback skates inhabit a range of depths, from shallow coastal waters to deeper offshore environments, and primarily feed on benthic invertebrates and small fish.
