Real Peccary Skull
The peccary is a medium-sized, hoofed mammal belonging to the family Tayassuidae. Native to the Americas, peccaries are often referred to as javelinas or skunk pigs. They have a distinctive appearance, characterized by a robust body, a pig-like snout, and coarse, bristly fur. Peccaries are social animals, often living in herds, and they primarily feed on a diet of fruits, roots, and vegetation. Known for their keen sense of smell and strong tusks, peccaries play important roles in their ecosystems as seed dispersers and contributors to nutrient cycling.
