Real Blesbok Skull With Mandible - Pathology
The blesbok is an antelope endemic to South Africa and is the smallest member of the hartebeest tribe. They possess a glossy, dark reddish-brown coat that contrasts with their white belly, face and legs. Males have distinctive S-shaped horns that can grow up to 20 inches long; females' horns are typically slightly shorter and thinner.
